The primary Lag Screw features deep, aggressive bone threads at its tip to ensure maximum purchase in the femoral head, while its smooth, polished shaft telescopes smoothly inside the plate barrel. The matching Compression Screw threads into the base of the lag screw, allowing the surgeon to apply precise intraoperative manual compression across the fracture gap before weight-bearing begins. Both components are manufactured from highly electropolished, implant-grade Surgical Stainless Steel 316L or Titanium Alloy.
